HOW DOES IPL WORK?

A cool topical, anesthetic gel will be applied to the treatment area and dark glasses placed over your eyes. This is then followed by having the IPL emit a controlled pulse of light to the affected area. Some clients may feel a slight sting like the snapping of a rubber band, but this only lasts or occurs when the IPL is emitting. The thermal energy given off breaks down the unwanted blemish and/or pigment and enables the skin cells to regenerate and rebuild the naturally occurring collagen.  Laser peels help restore skin elasticity by smoothing out the skins surface and rebuilding your skin′s support structure.
